Gear For A Solo Overnight Backpacking Trip

So, as we have all been locked up over Corona Virus, it’s also fun to organize gear, think how you can make your pack lighter and try out new gear combinations. In this gear drop, I am a little redundant with both an ax and Skarma chopper. Honestly, the Skarma does it all, but paranoia and habit make me always carry the Fiskars Hatchet as a back-up.

I have some tried and true choices here such as the JetBoil and Spyderco PM2 and a few new additions such as the Fat Rope Stick which I am totally hooked on now. If you never tried some of these new fire starters, you owe it to yourself. The Exotac Fire Sleeve makes another appearance. I love this guy, take a great Bic Lighter and make it waterproof!
