Recently I took my middle boys and son-in-law on a backpacking trip around the rugged trails around Mt. Mitchell, North Carolina. Anytime a trip is planned, that usually means gear tests and great pictures.
For this trip, we had a chance to test out several bushcraft knives, backpacks, some new hiking poles, a whole bunch of camp food, and this Bertucci watch, the A-3P Vintage Field Watch.
I have revied a few Bertucci watches before, and they often make my best of list. Honestly, there aren’t many other wristwatches that are as durable and offer so much value as Bertucci does.
They offer a little something for everyone, and their catalog has recently expanded over the last few years. From the budget-friendly DX3 to the full titanium A-4T Super Yankee, with many choices in between.
I decided to get the boys each a new Bertucci DX3’s, and I snagged this A-3P for myself. What better excuse for a new field watch than a big backpacking trip?
